Me in another era.

"The year was 1889 and the Moulin Rouge had just been built." This is the era I would have died to live in. The Belle Époque was a time of optimisim and discoveries. It was a time when beauty was praised and art was admired. If I would have lived in the Belle Époque I would have dedicated my life to beauty and art.

My Favorite Song.

For me to choose a favorite song is very hard. But if one fits for the title it has to be 'You'll Be in My Heart' by Phil Collins. This song, to me, is completely selfless. It's about helping, about letting someone know you care. It tells you that no matter how small, or alone you feel you'll always have someone, because someone does care.

If you ask me why this song is special, it's because every time I listen to it, I think of one of the most important friends in my life. Because when she was going through a rough patch this is the song that helped her through it. It is a powerful, beautiful and inspirational song.
